Meet Our Pastor

Elder Adrian D. Hines is a Spirit-filled and experienced preacher and teacher of the Word of God. The Lord has used him to minister the Word throughout the world, including the United States, South America, Korea, Europe, and Africa. He is truly a man after God’s own heart, seeking to share the knowledge and understanding of the Word of God with anyone who will listen.

Elder Hines was born and raised in the city of Tampa, Florida. After graduating from Jefferson High School in 1987, he joined the United States Air Force. In 1990, he was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington, where he met and married his wife, Tabitha. In 1995, they joined Jesus Is Lord, CLGI, under the leadership of Pastors Tony and Deborah Sewell. It was there that the Lord quickly called them into ministry, anointing them with the Holy Spirit and giving them a deep hunger for the Word of God.

In 1996, Elder Hines was reassigned by the Air Force to Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. He immediately began a Bible study on Sheppard Air Force Base which later transitioned to his home with his wife and children. This Bible study grew into a church, Christ Our Saviour. The following year, in June 1997, he was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Living God International during the Holy Convocation.

After 22 years of service, he decided to retire from the United States Air Force as a Master Sargent. In 2014, Elder Hines, his wife Tabitha and their three daughters, decided to transition back to his hometown of Tampa, Florida. Elder Hines reunited with his former pastors, Elders Tony and Deborah Sewell, at Lily of the Valley in Thonotosassa, Florida. Being led by the Lord, Elder Hines established the Carrollwood Bible Study Center in Tampa, Florida.

He has since transitioned the bible study into the church you see today, Christ Our Saviour, the Church of the Living God International.
